ICI El Recreo is located in El Recreo, Durán, a mixed community on the outskirts of the city of Guayaquil. The church has focused on integrating into the community since it began in 2003 with evangelistic activities and, more recently, with the Casa Amanecer program to reach children at social risk.
They continue moving toward a role of impact in the surrounding community, aiming to bring generational change and hope through Christ in a very difficult environment.
ICI El Edén is located in a village near the city of Baba and is its daughter church. The church works to reach this small farming community and other hard-to-access villages. They work closely with the community, especially with children, providing Bible teaching and school support.
ICI Baba is located in the town of Baba, in Los Ríos province. This town is known for its banana plantations and rice fields, the main industries in the area.
The church was founded in 1998 to reach the community, and since then has grown and expanded into the areas surrounding Baba. As a result, a daughter church was born in El Edén, along with other satellite locations as extensions of ICI Baba.
ICI Samborondón is located in the town of Samborondón, a small community known for its agricultural industry and its position as the capital of the Samborondón canton.
The church was founded in 1993 by missionaries from our movement in Chile. Since then, they have grown in number and maturity, forming disciples of Christ to extend His kingdom within and beyond the community.
The church now has its own building, which began construction in 2016 and was completed in 2017, giving it room to grow with some relief from the Ecuadorian heat.
The church continues to grow as it focuses on young families through home groups, marriage seminars, and various children's activities.
Note: Sentinel School is also a ministry of this church.
ICI Spondylus is located on the Spondylus road, in the small community of San José. This area is known for artisanal fishing and tourism. The church was founded there in 2013 by a missionary couple from ICI El Recreo. This small church has kept growing since then and focuses on reaching its neighborhood as well as other communities along the Spondylus road.
ICI Cosecha, located in the community of San Vicente, was founded in 2017. After an earthquake in April 2016, our organization arrived in the area to address immediate needs and later began building homes.
Since then, we have been working through our new church, ICI Cosecha, to share the hope of the Gospel in this community.
Through home groups, personal visits, children's activities, and more, we have been reaching out to the people of the community to bring hope and healing to an area still affected by this tragedy.
