Bernard Soubry

Bernard Soubry (he/him) is a policy analyst with IISD's Energy Program, working on the Re-Energizing Canada project.
Prior to joining IISD, Bernard's research focused on food systems and climate change. He has published extensively on how climate adaptation strategies for food systems can be improved using farmer and worker feedback, as well as on the need for community-led adaptation programs. He also writes for and leads reporting teams with IISD's Earth Negotiations Bulletin.
Bernard holds a bachelor's degree from Mount Allison University, as well as a master’s degree and PhD from the University of Oxford. He is an adjunct professor at Dalhousie University's School of Resource and Environmental Studies.
