At IISD-ELA we believe in the philosophy that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Our approach to studying the environment involves collecting data from all levels of the ecosystem and understanding how it all interacts. From looking at the effect of annual air temperature on ice formation on lakes to calculating how much oxygen is being produced by algae within lakes we are always pushing to learn more. Explore this section to learn more about our research focus and our long-term data set.
We are committed to ensuring the information collected from our research is available to the public. If you are interested in our data, please fill out our Scientific Data Request Form, and refer to our Database Update Schedule.
